1834 eksēgéomai (from 1537/ek, "out from and to" intensifying 2233/hēgéomai, "to lead by showing priority") – properly, completely lead out to an intended outcome ("thoroughly bring forth") – i.e. explain (narrate) by clarifying what is uppermost (has priority).
