Cognate: 1335 diēgesis (from 1334/diēgéomai, "fully lead, thoroughly conduct, narrate") – properly, a full narration (account), carefully recorded in an authoritative, thorough historical account (i.e. complete, comprehensive).  (Note the intensifying force of the prefix, dia.)  See1334 (diēgéomai).
